We plan to develop the site, add a forum and encourage school twinning. Children will be able to send their pictures for Grandma’s Art Gallery and see their art on the World Wide Web. A ‘virtual’ grandma on our website will write regular newsletters and can sent e-cards. Grandma Valerie has recorded stories in clear Standard English -The best way to learn English pronunciation is to hear it spoken by a native English speaker – we plan to add a local grandmother, or grandfather, for every language. An interactive CD-ROM will accompany every book and a version for Promethean Interactive Whiteboards will be launched in January 2007 |
